This is huge news for DS owners because so far Advance Wars DS is- by far- the best game for the DS. Also the game, despite not using the stylus well, made a huge leap over the GBA version, so I am expecting the sequel to be especially awesome. I'd love too see more RPG features and more reasons to play the game than to just get a few wallpapers or collect all 300 medals (which takes well over 100 hours). I have invested a lot of time into Advance Wars DS and it always make me think twice about buying other DS games because I know I can go back to it and have a very good time. The game does not really get stale over time, but I have found that I simply run out of maps that I find interesting and and try to perfect my performance on the really well designed maps will avoiding the worse ones (and the ones with too much reliance on sea battles, where the games is strategically the weakest).
